Welcome, I am so happy you are here! Thank you for stepping into our world and for allowing us to share our story with you. My name is Taylor and I am one of the creators of East Of These. Our story began rather organically about eight years ago when my good friend Jessica asked me to teach her how to sew. Being a mom of 3 boys, she was craving a more “girly” hobby and so we decided to make headbands for fun. Before we knew it, we were busy making headbands and other small handmade items for friends and others in our community.

Our name is inspired from the phrase “the least of these” in the Bible. This phrase refers to anyone who is impoverished, marginalized, or in great need. Since the beginning, we have desired for East Of These to have a mission behind the goods that we make. We endeavor to give back to those who are in need within our community. Although our team has grown and changed over the years, we continue to seek opportunities to impact those we touch. A part of that is a dedication to helping women in need through employment. I am immensely grateful to have a team of women that include survivors of domestic violence, emotional abuse, neglect, and homelessness.

Here at East Of These we believe that our work matters and that we ourselves are able to offer hope and encouragement to those around us. Creating beautiful products for you to enjoy and share with your loved ones is a great gift to us. We hope that as you wear East Of These accessories, you will be reminded that even after the darkest of days, there is always a glorious light to follow.
